BBB issues warning about 2 roofing companies after KY3 investigation

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Two months after a KY3 News On Your Side Investigation aired, the Better Business Bureau warned two roofing companies.

Ashley Reynolds of KY3 shared stories of Overland Roof Exchange and Midwest Roofing Commercial and Residential customers who paid thousands and then had to wait months with no work completed. Customers could not reach the manager.

According to this BBB warning, the organization was also unable to track him down. KY3 tracked down the owners two months ago. The owner is tied to both companies. We found that Glenn Jessen of Overland Roof Exchange and Midwest Roofing Commercial and Residential worked in Colorado. The Colorado Attorney General has indicted him. Investigators say he used “deceptive and illegal means to coerce consumers into doing business.” Jessen has a $6.5 million judgment against him.

Out of the three customers we spoke to in our original story, only one received a refund.
