Catalyze acquires Sol Alliance to expand national solar presence
Independent power producer Catalyze has acquired Northeast solar developer Sol Alliance and its 80 MW pipeline for solar projects.
Sol Alliance is a 15-year veteran of the solar industry, working on more than 275 MW of solar projects in the Midwest, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Puerto Rico. Sol Alliance partners Stephen Owen and Jared Haines, along with VP Operations Matthew Effler, will join the Catalyze team.

As part of the transaction, Sol Alliance will gain access to Catalyze’s origination-to-operations software integration platform, REenergyze, and its patented rooftop solar panel mounting technology, SolarStrap, along with expertise in energy storage and integration, supply chain, dedicated project capital, tax assets partners and shared services.
