This solar PV system is the seventh HSGS solar PV system installed for the VA. As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, HSGS was honored to install this solar power system for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

HSGS has constructed five parking canopies in three parking lots of the North Little Rock VAMC, which will provide shaded parking for nurses, doctors, patients and employees while producing energy for the medical center.

The North Little Rock VAMC is part of the South Central VA Health Care Network that serves more than one million veterans annually in the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Alabama, Oklahoma, Florida, and parts of Texas. CAVHS is one of the largest and busiest VA medical centers in the country providing inpatient and outpatient health care.

“We are honored to build another solar PV system for the VA and be part of their initiative to use renewable energy sources,” said Colonel Dave McNeil. “HSGS has been working for the VA nationwide, including Puerto Rico, for nearly a decade now.”
