Woman charged with stealing $700,000 from roofing firm – The Royal Gazette

A Southampton woman is accused of stealing more than $706,000 from a local business.

Bambi Lee Pimental, 51, allegedly stole the money from JW Gray and Company Ltd, a specialist in roofing, waterproofing and wall finishing, between June 29, 2016 and June 4, 2020.

The exact amount allegedly stolen was $706,436.

Ms Pimental appeared before the Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning but was not required to plead as she is to be tried before the Supreme Court on indictment.

She will be allowed to make a plea during the hearing on 2 August.

Ms. Pimental has been released on $25,000 bail and her travel documents are being held by police.
